The Defender is made from a tightly woven monofilament mesh originally developed for mosquito nets, so it’s highly effective at keeping even small insects out. The silver colour helps reflect heat and sunlight, and the way the mesh sits on the body encourages airflow along the coat. It’s also impressively durable, standing up well to daily paddock wear through the season. With 60% UV protection, it helps shield your horse’s skin from the sun and reduce the risk of sunburn.

A comfortable, safe fit

The design-protected Field Safe Front gives a secure, safe closure and a supremely comfortable fit under the neck and across the chest. The design-protected Boxter Dart, a re-imagined shoulder dart, improves freedom of movement through the shoulder and along the neckline, so your horse can walk, graze and move naturally.

A reduced shoulder lining keeps the rug breathable while still protecting the sensitive areas that need it, and a generous tail flap gives the hindquarters plenty of coverage from insects.
