The Leader Equine Breeze Summer Sheet brings together a soft, luxurious polycotton top and breathable anti-insect mesh sides, giving your horse sun protection and bug protection in a single, beautiful summer rug. It’s cool, comfortable and looks fantastic in the paddock.

Soft on top, breezy at the sides

The top of the sheet is made from Leader Equine’s 230gsm polycotton with a 40% cotton blend, known for its lovely soft handfeel. Along the sides, a durable monofilament anti-insect mesh lets air flow freely to help your horse stay cool on hot days. The whole sheet is lightweight, so your horse stays comfortable without feeling weighed down.

Sun protection where it’s needed most

The polycotton top gives 100% UV protection across the back, where the sun hits hardest, while the mesh sides provide 60% UV protection. It’s an excellent option for horses with sensitive skin or coats that fade in the summer sun.

Relief from flies and mosquitoes

The monofilament mesh sides help keep flies and mosquitoes off the body, giving your horse welcome relief from irritating bites and a more settled time in the paddock.

Comfortable, safe and secure

The design-protected Field-Safe Front gives a comfortable fit and peace of mind around fencing and haynets, while the design-protected Boxter Dart allows freedom through the shoulder and along the neckline. Together, they give a fit that lets your horse graze and move naturally all day.

Cross surcingles keep the sheet secure, alongside a durable adjustable tailcord. A detachable neck cover is included, the tail flap is generously sized, and reflective strips make your horse easy to spot on night checks.
